My favorite drink these days
Ingredients:
1. Fizzy water
2. Fever-Tree Ginger Beer (No substitutes, and no fancy flavors of Fever-Tree.)
3. A dry sparkling wine. I use Gruet Brut, which is made here in New Mexico. Just make sure whatever you use isn’t too sweet or too oaky.
Fill a glass with ice.
Start with fizzy water and fill 1/3 full.
Then add ginger beer and fill up to the 2/3’s mark.
Next add your dry sparkling wine until the glass is full.
Maybe one drop of lime.
Don’t stir. This is a layered drink. As you drink it, top it off with sparkling wine every so often.
