Today we discovered that if we walk along the ditch trail to Montaño Rd and take a left, we can hike back home along the levee. 5:59 pm / 40°.

When the delivery guy walked in with the second chair, he had a look of shock on his face. “Are these chairs all supposed to be different colors?” And below, our new IKEA couch halfway put together. The back cushions are on the floor in the other room undergoing their 72-hour decompression.

The weather report said CLOUDY ALL DAY. I looked out my front door and this is what I saw:
4:31 pm. One of my favorite new walking trails. It runs for miles along the irrigation ditch behind our house.
5:31 pm. Almost back home.
