Thursday night poetry class. Julie Bruck, our fearless leader, checks the Warriors score for us between each poem. Isn't this the coziest-looking place to meet? We'll miss it, as the Writing Salon must look for new digs.

Friday: Birthday breakfast with the Cricket.
There is no more room in our house for rocks. None. We've been stepping on and tripping over them. So I put them out to pasture yesterday between our house and Marguerite's.
The Great Highway was closed this evening due to wind and sand, though you can't see any sand on this portion of the road. The tide was coming in, so I walked home in the middle of the street!

I looked down and this is what I saw on the sidewalk. Aren't you glad Hillary will be opening the X-files?

Lunch was so wonderful. Salmon, vegetable overflow, sparkling wine, cheese, lavash, melon.
