Rock Garden
There is no more room in our house for rocks. None. We've been stepping on and tripping over them. So I put them out to pasture yesterday between our house and Marguerite's.
The Great Highway was closed this evening due to wind and sand, though you can't see any sand on this portion of the road. The tide was coming in, so I walked home in the middle of the street!

I looked down and this is what I saw on the sidewalk. Aren't you glad Hillary will be opening the X-files?

I know what you're thinking.
"What next. What else could there possibly be out there for her to drag home."
Thank you, Lucille!
Lunch was so wonderful. Salmon, vegetable overflow, sparkling wine, cheese, lavash, melon.
But the best thing is always the talk.

In case you forget:
Spotted while walking down Balboa Street
Early morning sun. P.S. Isn't Ranunculus the most ridiculous name for that little yellow flower?
"A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND GUSTS OF AT LEAST 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT... ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION."
It was so windy! We don't really have to worry too much about driving a high profile vehicle, but walking down the Great Highway this afternoon was certainly interesting.

The most beautiful package in my mailbox from a sick Cricket who couldn't make it to Breakfast Club this morning. She can't talk (laryngitis) but man can she wrap.
The book is called The Joy of Swimming: A Celebration of Our Love for Getting in the Water by Lisa Congdon. I especially love this spread done in watercolor.
